Little was revealed about the event itself , What was certain was the unique blend of musical and spiritual colors and soundsThe ship had sailed around 10h15 pm and The journey had begun .. Mashrou’ Leila, translated to English as “Overnight Project”, is a Lebanese Rock band that originated back in 2008 at the American University of Beirut (AUB) as a music workshop. This music workshop evolved to become a hit band, currently consisting of Haig Papazian on the Violin, Omaya Malaeb on Keyboards, Carl Gerges on Drums, Ibrahim Badr on Bass, Firas Abu-Fakhr and Andre Chedid on guitars, and, last but not least, Hamed Sinno as the vocalist . Mashrou’ Leila’s first album debuted in December 2009 and has been a big hit among Indie and Rock fans in Lebanon. With the band’s entertaining themes, satirical Lebanese lyrics, and amazing talent, Mashrou’ Leila has earned quite a reputation in the local scene.

The latest clip features MANOWAR vocalist Eric Adams and guitarist Karl Logan talking about Ronnie James Dio's immense influence on the heavy rock genre and paying tribute to the man Adams calls "the first god of metal."
